Armenian Americans joined protests following the murder of George Floyd. They can empathize with the struggle of the Black community through their own history of experiencing systemic racism abroad.

Armenians are more likely to have illnesses that put them at higher risk if infected by COVID-19. Vaccine skepticism endangers the community and risks severe illness.

Many local businesses have been struggling from the economic fallout brought on by the pandemic. Despite this, the Armenian American community rallied together to raise humanitarian funds for Armenia when war struck the country in Fall 2020.

LGBTQ+ and Feminist Armenians frequently face harassment and threats from within their own community. Local advocacy and education is the key to combating this level of hate.
